I was brought in to perform usability testing on an onboarding flow prototype developed during our first-ever design sprint.
In the design sprint, the team developed a quiz-like prototype that recommended two content options to users.
The primary goal of user testing was to find out whether the prototype made sense to learners and they were able to easily answer the quiz questions. However, we also wanted to learn more about expectations users had for different course types, and expectations for the next step in the onboarding process.

After iterating the prototype over two rounds of usability testing with 4 current Dataquest users and 6 people who hadn't signed up for Dataquest, we shipped the new onboarding feature.
We also finished the project already equipped with research for our next project — a new user homepage.
